October 24, 2023 at 8:25 pm #8945I am interested in learning the song, Memphis Blues. I can’t seem to find it anywhere. The recording I heard was in the Key of E, I believe. Can you give me any help with this?
October 24, 2023 at 8:33 pm #8946Tried to edit, no luck. It is WABASH BLUES, not Memphis. Sorry.

January 19, 2024 at 3:57 pm #9482Hi Kevin. I have a song request. Just found out that I will be visiting with my son & daughter-in-law this summer, both of whom are accomplished guitarists. I would really love to learn to play a blast from their past, “Good Riddance” by Green Day, so I can dazzle them with my evolving talent! 🤣 Thanks a bunch for your consideration.

RL DavisJanuary 4, 2025 at 10:27 pm #11012Happy New Year, Kevin & Vicky! I hope you’ve had a fabulous holiday season!
A friend of mine (who has been playing guitar forever!) asked me to learn “My Baby” by the Doobie Brothers so we can play it together. Just heard it for the first time tonight and fell in love with the blues-iness (new word) of it right off the bat. If you get a chance, I’d like to request that this one be added to the song lesson list. Many thanks!February 11, 2025 at 1:01 pm #11234Kevin, this is Kevin. I am interested in learning a beginner/intermediate version of the Beatles song, “In My LIfe” and “I Will”. I would love to hear your version as these songs are keyed to a tenor voice. I don’t know how to transpose this more in to your voice range. I am sure you can help us learn these great songs. Actually, according to Lennon, “In My Life” was his “first real major piece of work” because it was the first time he wrote about his own life. Inviting George Martin to create and perform the piano bridge was a real change for them as well. Paul McCartney authored the harmony. It is wonderful to sing and I would love to learn how to accompany it on my guitar. “I Will” is a simple love song, according the Paul McCartney. He further said, “This is a song about the joy of love…Love might be the mightiest, strongest force on the planet.” Don’t you think we should learn songs like these? Thanks much, Kevin Husted

May 25, 2025 at 9:25 pm #11687Hi Kevin, I’m wondering whether you’d consider doing a lesson on Joni Mitchell’s Big yellow Taxi. Thanks, Andrew.
June 6, 2025 at 9:21 pm #11732Hey Kevin, I have another suggestion, how about while my guitar gently weeps.
Thanks, have a good weekend -
